CMS-Africa local partner Ialy Tongasoa asks for prayer for Christians as they lead the way in reconciliation between Madagascar’s government and activists protesting economic struggles, infrastructure failures and corruption, in preparation for presidential elections in 2028. This week, Cyclone Gezani hit Madagascar’s main port, Toamasina. At least 35 people have died and as many as 250,000 are affected or displaced. Pray for all those who are now left without shelter and struggling to find food because of disruptions to food-supply chains while mourning the loss of loved ones, treasured possessions and homes.
