This Christmas, you can invite everyone…
You can help make sure everyone is invited to the feast, including people like Jostyn.
Jostyn was kicked out of school as a child, where he was labelled as disruptive because of his Down’s syndrome.
He was dead set against going back to school, but aged 12, he agreed to try CMS mission partner Sharon Wilcox’s life skills programme.
When he first started, he thought he couldn’t do anything and spent much of his time in class sleeping on the floor.
Sharon has been working with Jostyn for almost six years, and over that time God has changed Jostyn’s life.
By teaching cooking, gardening, crafts and more, Sharon helps people like Jostyn to build self-esteem, gain independence and find new life in Jesus.
These days, he’s an active member of Sharon’s class. He has friends. He’s realised he is capable of many things and can provide for himself.
Life skills aren’t the only thing he’s learned – his faith is growing too.
For the first time, Jostyn is part of the celebration.

Donate today and make sure everyone’s invited
“When you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind; and you will be blessed, because they are not able to pay you back. God will repay you on the day the good people rise from death.”
