This Christmas, you can invite everyone…
You can help make sure everyone is invited to the feast, including people like Louise.
Agoraphobic and extremely anxious, Louise hides in her Hull home with the curtains drawn night and day.
She suffered trauma and abuse as a child, became addicted to drugs by the time she was in her mid-teens, spent many years working the streets and has been in and out of violent relationships.
Now in her early 50s, she has come to define herself in terms of her shame.
CMS mission partners Anna and Chris Hembury have got to know Louise over a few years and she has gradually become a regular at the Orts sewing collective, a safe space for the most vulnerable in the community.
She is gradually opening up to more of life and the fullness Jesus came to offer.
She yearns to learn, understand and experience more of God.
Please join us and support CMS people in mission like Anna and Chris who are including the excluded:
Your gift of £10 could help build community at Anna and Chris’s mission house through including others like Louise.
Your gift of £25 could help Anna and Chris to continue to offer a safe space for women like Louise who are struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
Your gift of £50 could support Anna and Chris to invite more women like Louise to stitch their lives back together at Orts.
Donate today and make sure everyone’s invited
“When you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind; and you will be blessed, because they are not able to pay you back. God will repay you on the day the good people rise from death.”
