When Neema was pregnant with her third child, the thief stole her husband…
With no income in the household, life became very difficult. She turned her hand to making fabric dollies, but the small profit wasn’t enough to feed her young family. She relied on the charity of her friends and neighbours.
She says, “ni kwa neema ya Mungu tu” (by the grace of God only) she is at Rehema.
There, with CMS mission partner Heather Johnstone, Neema has learnt to cook nutritious, affordable food which she sells at the local market.
Just a year later, she is the best performer at the Rehema food outlet. Her life has changed for the better, thanks to the grace of God and the generosity of CMS supporters who have chosen to help stop the thief.
